I grew up on a farm, but we did crops and poultry. One of my grandparents lived a crossed the way and he had hogs, so I helped out there. My uncle lived a few miles away, had cattle and hogs, I helped with that. My uncle in another town had a huge hog confinement, and that was crazy work but so much fun to learn. My best friends had dairy cows, and it’s so interesting to see how differently it all works. Loved the different ways I got to learn about farming as a kid. Now I have my own farm. Although I don’t do all the farming I helped with as a kid. Poultry is by far my favorite.
