@persecondnews.ng: Pastor Enoch Adeboye has denied claims that he carried a placard against former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 election period, saying the photograph being circulated was taken during a prayer walk in 2020, five years after Jonathan left office. Recounting the controversy, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God said he participated in the exercise in Ebute Metta following a directive from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for churches to organise prayer walks around their locations. Adeboye said a journalist had misrepresented his account by linking the placard to 2015, adding that he had never denied carrying it but disputed the date and context being attached to the photograph. #nigerianews #nigeriannews
