Absurdly thick, but somehow tender all the way through. Coated in a rich, deeply savoury ginger sauce that just keeps building with every bite. The kind of thing that makes you keep reaching for rice without thinking. One portion is already a full meal. I went for 5 stacks — a shogayaki tower totalling over 1kg. It's a lot. And apparently, people polish it off without much trouble. Each extra layer is ¥980. See how far you can go. And because this is a beer stand first — the beer is excellent.
