@aaronsingssongs: I filmed this two weeks ago, but it’s taken me until now to find the strength to edit it. Watching it back and hearing myself sing Talking to the Moon at Kyroe and Hendrix’s funeral was just too emotional. We should be getting ready to welcome our boys into the world soon. We had imagined our lives with two more little people in them, and now I’m trying to make sense of a future that looks completely different. Part of me is still waiting for them to come home. I’m finding it so hard to adjust to life without them. My voice wasn’t at its best that day. I was heartbroken. But I sang with all the love I have for my boys, and I hope I did them proud. I hope they heard their daddy singing to them. I hope they know how deeply loved they are, and that they love their daddy as much as their daddy loves them. To Shauna Mae: thank you for being my backbone and holding me up when I didn’t know how to keep standing. I couldn’t have got through this without you.
