@oneupmoto: Anytime you swap handle bars or do any custom work to the front end, it’s likely the cables will end up too long. In addition to looking unprofessional, this can cause binding when you turn, and tight bends that create excess friction in the cable making for a hard or rough pull. In a worst case scenario, this can make throttle cables bind which is straight up dangerous. I shorten a lot of cables and have refined this process over the years. I don’t recommend the screw on type ferrules for long term use or even for short term on clutch cables. Soldering is the way to go! #motorcyclestiktokcontest #mechanic #DIY #howto #custom
