They said this clip came from a tape labeled “Beach Trip – August 1990” but this section feels… off. The camera isn’t pointed at the water like you’d expect. It just stays fixed on the dunes. No movement for a while. Just wind. The kind of wind that distorts the audio on old camcorders. You can hear someone behind the camera at one point but it’s too faint to make out what they’re saying. Almost like they didn’t want to be heard clearly. About halfway through, the exposure shifts slightly and you start to notice there’s something not right with the dunes themselves. The shadows don’t match where the sun should be. They stretch in a direction that doesn’t line up with anything else in frame. It could be nothing. Could just be how these old cameras handled light. But it doesn’t feel like that when you watch it all the way through. There’s also a moment near the end where the camera very subtly adjusts… like whoever’s holding it is focusing on something specific. But nothing obvious is there. Just sand and brush. Like they saw something they didn’t want to get too close to. If this really is from August 11, 1990, it lines up with the same week mentioned in a few of the other tapes. The ones people keep saying feel “different” from the rest of the footage. I don’t know. Maybe I’m reaching. But I’ve watched this clip like 20 times now and it gets worse every time.
