@itvision592: 🌐 Switch vs Router vs Firewall — How Do They Actually Work? 🔥 Your PCs need to communicate, reach other networks, and stay secure. But how does each device handle its job? 🔹 Switch: Learns source MAC addresses and uses its MAC address table to forward Ethernet frames to the correct port. 🔹 Router: Checks the destination IP address, consults its routing table, and forwards packets toward the next hop. 🔹 Firewall: Enforces security policies. In our lab, HTTPS traffic (Port 443) was allowed, while Telnet traffic (Port 23) was blocked. 💡 CCNA Challenge: Which device uses a MAC address table to make forwarding decisions? 👇 Share your answer in the comments! 📌 Save, share, and follow Networking with Khalid for more real-world networking demonstrations. #CCNA #NetworkEngineering #CiscoNetworking #NetworkSecurity #networkingwithkhalid
