Some know their fathers but rarely hear from them. Others have never had the chance to experience a father's love. And some of those children are now adults, still carrying that little empty space in their hearts. I know that feeling because I have lived it. And as a mother, I know how heartbreaking it is to watch a child long for a love that should never have to be begged for. But today, I want to remind someone of something important. Your father's absence does not determine your worth. You are not forgotten. You are not less deserving of love. You are not responsible for the choices someone else made. And above all, you have a Heavenly Father who sees you, hears your prayers, and knows the deepest desires of your heart. God's love does not erase every painful memory, but He can walk with us through the pain, bring healing, and surround us with people who love us. "A father of the fatherless ... is God in his holy habitation." — Psalm 68:5 (KJV) To every child, grown daughter, grown son, and mother carrying this pain: may God comfort the places in your heart that words cannot reach.
