Meanwhile, Xaden is simply waiting to have lunch with Liam and apparently sees absolutely no reason to interrupt a beautiful woman flirting with him. Liam arriving: “Who’s this?” Sir, you’ve interrupted something. 😂 And Violet finding out, keeping her dignity and leaving him with “Shame. You might’ve been my type”? I LOVE HER. My relationship with book Violet has been a journey: loved her in book one, struggled in book two, loved her again in book three. But that first-book Violet who starts teasing Xaden, testing his restraint and getting increasingly bold with their flirting? That’s the energy I wanted here. He’s trying to maintain boundaries. She’s wondering how much fun she can have with them. 👀 So yes, our Violet is taking a little more initiative: confident, feminine, sensual, and perfectly capable of walking away while leaving him wanting another conversation.
