I spent roughly 6K on courses, communities and coaching in my first two years as a digital marketer ( making a whopping 40 bucks during that time). 😳 And looking back, these are the 5 things I wish I knew then: 1️⃣ Choose your community more carefully than your course. The people you learn from will shape your online business way more than any course ever could. If you surround yourself with income claims and shortcuts, you’ll start believing that’s normal…but if you surround yourself with people who focus on genuinely serving others, you’ll naturally start to do the same. Pay attention to the culture you're buying into, not just the curriculum of the course. 2️⃣ There is no magical course or strategy that's going to make everything click. For years I thought that if I could just find the missing piece, I’d start seeing the results I wanted. But that’s not how progress works in this space. It comes from learning, doing, failing and fine-tuning over time. Sometimes the lesson you need isn’t in another course - it’s in the work you’re avoiding. 3️⃣ Failure was the best coach I ever had. The things that didn't work taught me way more about digital marketing than any course I ever purchased. Every wrong turn put me on the path to the right one. Failure isn’t proof you don’t belong here - it’s where the real learning starts. 4️⃣ An automated system doesn't magically create passive income. You can have all the automation and a “perfect” system but if you don’t know how to attract the right audience, communicate value and build trust - none of it matters. Automation supports your marketing - it doesn’t replace it. 5️⃣ Clarity doesn't always come from more information. I used to think I needed to understand everything before I could take the next step…but some answers only reveal themselves once you actually do the thing. You learn what you don’t know by running straight towards it. I'm not saying education isn't valuable. It is. But buying an education and building a skill set are not the same thing. And I wish someone had helped me understand that difference a whole lot sooner. ✅ If you want to learn digital or affiliate marketing and you're tired of the BS, follow along. I share the lessons, skills, and perspective I wish I'd had when I first got started. #beginneraffiliatemarketing #digitalmarketingtips #digitalincome
