I CANNOT STOP WATCHING THIS VIDEO. 😂 I’ve watched it an embarrassing number of times, and somehow it gets funnier every single time. Because imagining Azriel, of all people, wearing a facial mask, a little skincare headband and a luxurious silk kimono? I AM FINISHED. And can we talk about how ridiculously handsome he looks?! Those eyelashes?! Those lips?! Excuse me, sir, why does this man have prettier eyelashes and lips than I do? I’d quite like both, thank you. Of course, we have Rhysand to thank for this masterpiece. And I suspect Azriel might hate both Rhys and me a little right now. Absolutely worth it. And yes, Azriel eventually confessed to Gwyn that Rhysand had organised the date. After the receptionist’s creative interpretation of their names, I think he decided he needed to preserve whatever dignity he had left. But I actually love imagining Azriel being this honest with Gwyn. I feel like she’s someone he could genuinely lower his guard around, even when admitting something embarrassing or revealing something he’d normally keep to himself. There’s something so sweet about that. And Gwyn secretly taking photographs of him? GIRL, I UNDERSTAND. That picture would be framed in my living room. P.S. Please forgive today’s slightly rebellious AI pronunciations. Apparently, Rhysand has now become “Rhysa-san,” as though he’s wandered into a Japanese anime. 😭 As someone who grew up watching anime, I couldn’t stop laughing. The subtitles always show the dialogue I actually wrote, even when the AI decides to get creative. I’m still working on improving that! But I wasn’t going to let a few pronunciation mistakes stop me from sharing one of my favourite videos ever. The aesthetics, their chemistry, Azriel’s expressions… I’m completely obsessed. I hope you love it as much as I do. 🤍
