@blithebear_: I meant to post about this earlier as it was clearly released to be timed with Halloween/this weekend but it's still worth watching nonetheless year-round imo. Directed by Lauren Tsai, whose style you may recognize from previous projects available online, this stars the voice talents of Phoebe Bridgers, Billie Eilish, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima (what?!), and John C. McGinley (known to many as Dr. Cox on "Scrubs"). Reportedly, My Chemical Romance showed the film during their Hollywood Bowl performances over the weekend. A little bummed that the main protag had to be named "Astrid" when that's Jenna Ortega's character's name in Beeltejuice 2 (the Tim Burton comparisons are already easy enough to make, no need to help the cause imo) but otherwise, what a cool project! People sensitive to themes of self-harm might want to steer clear though. #mychemicalromance #animation #billieeilish #gaming #halloween
