@ringmagfans: Canelo Álvarez is a world champion again. Last night in Riyadh, he beat Christian Mbilli by unanimous decision (115-112, 116-111, 117-110) to win back the WBC super middleweight title in his first fight in 13 months. Mbilli came in undefeated and pressured him, but Canelo’s counterpunching and defense controlled the fight. Mbilli lost a point in round 8 for hitting behind the head and left with the first loss of his career. Many predicted Mbilli would take it. Did Canelo prove them wrong, or was this a closer fight than the cards show? Is he back for good?
