I’d also like to add for a lot of the restaurants they’re offering free food in exchange for a review and creators are not being paid. so that also could create differences in video quality for a barter deal versus an actual paid brand deal.

Yess this is what i ALWAYS tell my clients, I’ll always recommend a smaller creator who does GOOD videos vs a big influencer just bc they have followers

I may not understand the context in which you're trying to warn others about. However, from my perspective, anybody with a phone can shoot their experience in a restaurant and give them a positive plug and it not be detrimental. Just because it's on their phone, and they're not a content creator or influencer. most people would rather hear from the average person's experience than a creator who could be paid to say it

90% of these restaurants are struggling because the food is trash or mid... Everything is for sale The best of the best 2026 #1 vote is for sale. "Hidden Gem" the best of the best for sale.. Artificial hype will always humble these restaurants owners at the end. The only winners are the content creators. And nobody is to blame but the entrepreneurs that start a business and expect them to be a huge success because they have a nice sign and some nice furniture in a nice building and know nothing about running a restaurants or food business. 💯
