well we still use fly ash from coal plants today what are talking about for the environment. Without coal plants we wouldnt be able to get fly ash driving up the cost of concrete, which is the second most consumed consumer commodity in the world. Those blocks are made from cement which forms 900g of co2 per 1000g of cement
