A fugitive father from Florida has been arrested in Massachusetts following 2 months on the run after he allegedly told his pregnant teenage daughter to k*ll herself on her birthday. Gared Wayne Canales, 34, reportedly told his young daughter in an April phone conversation that she was 'worthless' & for her to 'k*ll yourself, just don't say it,'. Canales became the subject of a 2-month, nationwide manhunt before he was finally located in New England & transferred back to Flagler County, Florida, where he is facing CA charges. According to court documents, Canales verbally abused his daughter during a call in April, when he called her a 'b****' & other crude & hurtful names. 'You're not worth it,' he allegedly told her. 'I choose my girlfriend over you anyway, & go k*ll yourself.' The following night, the teenager cut herself on the wrist with a knif3, leaving a minor wound. The night after that, she tried again to d3e by suicid3 , this time using a shard of glass from a smashed picture of her & her father. Later, while in a car with her mother, the victim consumed 14 Benadryl pills, after which her mother rushed her to a local hospital, where her stomach was pumped. She told hospital staff she had 'attempted suicid3 due to her father stating to go k*ll herself.' The girl later told investigators she wanted to press charges against Canales, and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued on April 14. Police attempted to find Canales at his last known address in Louisiana, but he had already fled by the time they arrived. Detectives finally found him in Massachusetts and he is currently being held on a $10,000 bond for felony CA. A woman accused in a grisly kill*ng and dismemberment case in Wisconsin attacked her attorney on Tuesday 14th February 2023 during a court hearing, moments after a judge agreed to delay her trial. Taylor Schabusiness, 25, was seated in a Brown County circuit court when her attorney, Quinn Jolly, asked the judge for an additional 2 weeks for a defense expert to review his client’s competency to stand trial. Moments after Judge Thomas Walsh reluctantly agreed to postpone her March 6 trial, Schabusiness attacked Jolly & was wrestled to the courtroom floor by a deputy. The courtroom was then cleared before the hearing resumed. Schabusiness is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree SA in the killing of Shad Thyrion, 25, in February 2022. Authorities say she strangled Thyrion at a home in Green Bay, SA him & dismembered his body, leaving parts of him throughout the house and in a vehicle. Schabusiness has pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. She is being held on a $2 million cash bond. Following her courtroom outburst, the judge moved her competency hearing from Tuesday to March 6. The judge also proposed a May 15 trial date.
