Revelation shows elders in heaven holding golden bowls described as the prayers of God's people, presenting them before Christ. 4. It's real Tradition. Polycarp was personally taught by the apostle John, and when he died in 155, his own community was already honoring him this exact same way, not something invented later. 5. Scripture commands it.
