@houseofrenelle: 4 years ago, breast cancer put me into menopause. Treatment switched my body off almost overnight. I was focused on surviving, and nobody really prepared me for what came after: the hot flashes, weight gain, sleepless nights, changes in my skin and hair, and a version of me I didn't recognize in the mirror. I've been living in medical menopause ever since, mostly quietly. Now I'm ready to talk about it. In this series I'm sharing what medical menopause actually is, what it did to my body and my mind, makeup and skincare tips, and what's helping me feel like myself again.
