how and who originally wrote it isn't the issue for me, its the translation over languages and time and the mistakes men made during those translations.

Literally every piece of writing was written by mankind so by that logic nothing can be trusted.. if i go out and buy a ‘How to build a tesla coil book’ guess what i’ll end up with if i follow the instructions? It’s not that men can’t write truth, it’s that the truth of the Word of God doesn’t sit right with those who use that line of argument.

Add in the oldest living Bible, the Ethiopian Bible, and the odds grow up that much more. Not to mention the more scientist tried to disprove the events of the Bible the more they confirm it with their findings.

its not the writers im worried about its the editors. god inspired the writers but MAN went thru and decided what was canon and what was to be taken out or left. the Ethiopian bible has like 20 more books andnis the oldest SURVIVING bible. how do we know what they took out or didnt take out? and translations is like centuries long game of telephone. its been translated so many times these are NOT the orignal words but rather our best guess.

I was about to say are they gonna start complaining that Jesus was a man when he is probably the strongest advocate for both equality for women and children being treated as people and just equal rights overall? Sure the disciples and the apostles are still human at the end of the day with their own flaws, but they still chose to walk the path with Jesus and God. So, as Jesus would say, forgive thy enemies. Forgive them their flaws for they know not.
