I wish we could create a community for these kids where they can go and experience love and community and communication. A place where they have to face themselves but instead of being met with punishment being met with love and care. Teaching them how to farm, fish and tend to the land. Teamwork and spirituality.

We need to rethink how restorative justice is being done in schools. What we are seeing in this case is an extreme example but Currently the result are victims being forced into safety transfers or even moving out of town. I don’t want revenge but speaking as a teacher I’m tired of this. Most kids are good but we have a very small number of sociopaths out there and I’m tired of the system being twisted around to cater to them.
