Then the Lewis & Clark Boathouse came into view at the end of the path, the cherry on top of an already sweet sundae. 🍒 Enjoy the journey. That's close to where the Corps of Discovery set off in May 1804. The ground floor holds full-size, working replicas of the expedition's keelboat and two pirogues, all built by local volunteers. Upstairs, the museum has exhibits and dioramas about the expedition and the Native American nations the explorers met, plus displays on the wildlife and natural history of the Missouri River.
