so xrp is essentially a gas token then. what happened to cross border payments? that's the bit that that gets ignored. I own xrp because of cross border payments which by the sounds of it is no longer the case. if it's a gas token then each transaction is 0.0001 xrp that gets burned. that's going take a awfully long time to burn anything significantly

I don't think institutions need xrp except for a Investment because it's going to very high value for it's function so I'm personally not worried about Adoption because there is a point where xrp ledger will be the ultimate system. Xrp will be priceless once the ledger is adopted for use 😀
