Habib Lahori :
Justice for drivers! I'm asking the UK Government, DVLA, TfL, Uber and Bolt to take this seriously. Customers choose the pickup location in the app. If they put the pin on a bus stop, bus lane or zigzag lines, the driver following that pin can get a £100 fine and 3 points. Why should the driver bear all the responsibility? We aren't asking to break traffic laws. Road safety is vital. But drivers also need fairness and protection. We're doing 15 to 20+ trips a day transporting people to work, hospitals, and schools. A £100 fine can erase a day's earnings, and points affect insurance costs for years. Drivers also have families, mortgages, rent and bills to pay. If we stop driving, everyday life and the whole system would feel the impact. What we want is simple: the app should block unsafe pickup pins and guide customers to safe points. If someone chooses an illegal pickup location knowingly, there should be responsibility on that side too. Fairness for drivers, safety for passengers, and responsibility for everyone.
