Who wants a $1 latte? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Mark your calendars for this Saturday, 12/13, for @MOTW Coffee’s Grand Opening at 425 Main Street in Middletown! 🎉 They’ll be celebrating the entire day from 10am-10pm with any small latte of your choice for just $1! We’ve enjoyed MOTW’s New Haven location in the past, and find their coffee to be some of the highest quality in CT. When we stopped in their Middletown location for a sneak peek, we enjoyed their gingerbread chai from their winter menu, matcha, and chai pot. The biscoff latte was also SO good - it’s topped with a thick layer of biscoff cold foam that is cookie butter heaven 😍 We paired our drinks with some baklava, a biscoff milk cake, and an adorable peach mousse that was actually shaped like a peach! 🍑 If you’re in a savory mood, MOTW also has halal empanadas. We enjoyed the chicken one, but they also have beef, spinach, samosa, and breakfast empanadas! We also love MOTW’s mission of “coffee with a purpose”. MOTW stands for Muslims of the World, and their goal is to promote unity ❤️ With locations throughout the country, MOTW’s philanthropy efforts have raised millions for humanitarian causes! Between the quality coffee and impactful mission statement, we love supporting MOTW! They’re one of the most underrated coffee shops in CT in our opinion, and we hope you come check them out. Their Middletown location is a perfect stop while visiting the downtown area, and great for Wesleyan students who want somewhere to do work or hang out!
