Ga Kyung's mother didn't intentionally left her. Her mother was definitely a spy (a member of Gugukdan) and her Korean husband was Suzuki (also member of Gugukdan and supposed to be the Korean interpreter who saved Ga Kyung during the 1st attack in So Ran's House). Ga Kyung's mother was a spy who needs to marry the Japanese Soldier which was Ishikawa (Sato Shinichi) to obtain any info and to fight as well for their independence. In episode 7, Kim Myung Nam announced to the Gugukan Team about her arranged marriage with Hideo Sato (so that she can also spy) that's why 1 of the Gugukdan member immediately said that he's against about the marriage. So Ran then told Kim Myung Nam about the past. So Ran said that she put someone's life in danger and also So Ran put the person that the woman loves through hell. The woman that So Ran was pertaining to was Ga Kyung's mother. And the man that Ga Kyung's mother loved one is Suzuki. Moreover in episode 8, it shows that Suzuki woke up already from coma and when he heard about the arranged marriage of Kim Myung Nam and Hideo Sato, he was really against the arranged marriage. He even said to So Ran "As for the reason why I'm against it, you already know why) what Suzuki mean is that it's too dangerous for Kim Myung Nam and she might get killed. Suzuki is definitely Ga Kyung's father. Sadly, they're not aware that the history is repeating itself by Ga Kyung (a Korean lady being a spy just like her mother and also thet stepmother of Sato Hideo) who needs to obtain any information from Sato Hideo (which is currently the son of Sato Shinichi.
