@capucine.emily: Brownie Cookies Ingredients: 6 tbsp (85 g) unsalted butter 6 oz (170 g) chocolate chips or chopped chocolate 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar, or 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar + 1/2 cup (100 g) cane sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract 3/4 cup (95 g) all-purpose flour 1/4 cup (25 g) unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt Method: 1/ Melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together in short intervals, stirring between each one until smooth. Mix the wet ingredients. Add the sugar, eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined. Add the dry ingredients. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt until you have a thick, sticky dough. 2/ Chill the dough. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or place in the freezer for about 10 minutes if you’re short on time. 3/ Shape the cookies. Use two spoons or an ice cream scoop to form balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie. 4/ Bake. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes. The edges should be set while the centers still look slightly soft. Let them cool. Leave the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. They’ll firm up as they cool. #snack #baking #cookie #familymeals #chocolate
