@quietmindsfc: Today I’m announcing ReflectFi, and I’m looking for 20 people to help me shape it before it opens to anyone else. ReflectFi is a web app that brings budgeting and journaling into the same place. You enter your income and expenses by hand, sorted into categories you can make your own. Then you set aside time each week, month, and year to look at the numbers alongside the person behind them: what you wanted, what you did, and what you’d like to do next. It’s built for a few kinds of people: • You like to plan and budget, and you’ve wondered whether writing about your money would change how you see it. • You love to journal, but money keeps pulling you into the same loop or spiral, and you’d like a gentler way to face it. • You do neither, but you’ve toyed with the idea of both. There is no judgment here. ReflectFi is a quiet place to sit down with yourself and be honest about what you want. It also includes simple and easy to understand definitions of income, expenses, credit, and net worth, so the terms stop feeling like a foreign language. About the beta The site opens in early Q1 of 2027, and the beta will run for one quarter. If it needs more time, I’ll extend it. Testing will focus most heavily on short-term goals, so expect to spend your time on the nearer, more doable end of your plans. I’m not looking for compliments. I want to know what confuses you, what feels pointless, what’s missing, and whether the idea itself holds up. If something doesn’t work for you, that is exactly what I need to hear.
