💔 HE LEFT HOME TO GO TO SCHOOL, BUT HIS PARENTS WILL NEVER SEE HIM WALK THROUGH THAT DOOR AGAIN. THE TRAGIC STORY OF JAVITS FRIMPONG. I honestly don’t know how a parent is supposed to recover from this kind of pain. How does a mother accept that the little boy she carried for nine months, gave birth to, nurtured and prayed for is never coming home again? His name was Javits Frimpong. He was just 15 years old. Fifteen! An age when a child should be thinking about examinations, making friends, enjoying life and dreaming about the future. Javits was a Ghanaian teenager who had moved to the United States to reunite with his father and pursue a better future. He reportedly dreamed of becoming a doctor. His parents had hopes for him. They wanted to see him grow, graduate, become successful and enjoy the beautiful things life had to offer. But on October 29, 2026, an ordinary school morning became a day his family would never forget. Javits left home to go to school. I wonder what was going through his mind that morning. Did he tell his father goodbye? Did he smile before leaving? Did he have any idea that he would never return to that house? According to reports, Javits was chased and shot in the abdomen in the Bronx, New York. He was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, he did not survive. And just like that, a 15-year-old boy’s dreams came to an end. But there is something even more heartbreaking. His father reportedly revealed that Javits had complained about being bullied at school. He had apparently spoken about students making life difficult for him. His father also described previous incidents involving other students. Whether bullying was connected to the shooting has not been established. Can you imagine a child going to school, a place where parents expect their children to learn, grow and feel safe, only for that child to lose his life? Imagine his father looking at the door, remembering the last time his son walked out of the house. Imagine his mother in Ghana, thousands of miles away, wishing she could turn back the hands of time and hold her son one more time. Imagine the pain of seeing his pictures and knowing that there will be no more birthday celebrations, no more phone calls, no more conversations and no more opportunities to say, “Mum, I love you.” His parents didn’t bring him into this world for him to become a victim of violence. They brought him into this world hoping he would have a beautiful future. Javits was supposed to become a doctor. He was supposed to wear his graduation gown. He was supposed to make his parents proud. He was supposed to grow old enough to tell stories about his childhood. Instead, his family is left grieving a future that will never happen. PLEASE, LET US TAKE BULLYING SERIOUSLY. Sometimes, children suffer silently. Sometimes, they are afraid to speak. Sometimes, they tell their parents what is happening, hoping someone will protect them. No child should have to live in fear of going to school. No parent should have to bury a child who left home expecting to return. Javits, you were only 15. You had so much life ahead of you. You deserved more time. You deserved happiness. You deserved to fulfil your dreams. Your parents should be preparing for your graduation, not mourning your death. May your soul rest in peace, young angel. And may God give your parents the strength to survive a pain that words can never explain. 🕊️💔 One thing I want everyone to remember: behind every child is a family praying, hoping and waiting for them to come home safely.
