@marbutlerspeaks: I do NOT Apologize nor do I recant any word I’ve said in this Public Service Announcement! Too many of our young people are being shot for just going to a place where they thought they were going to expect nothing more than entertainment. Should they have known better? Maybe. But that’s not the point. The point is that there are a certain community of young people called YN’s that making what used to be considered as the Entertainment District of Dallas Deep Ellum a place where more gun violence has occurred week in and week out. We have to present more than just conversations. We have to take action to assist the few alliances that are in place to prevent it. They can’t do it by themselves. No one thinks that just going to a public place to enjoy a holiday party that they might not make it home. I’m tired of hearing people say “ Ae gotta Do Something, and never showing Up” #deepellum #gunviolenceawareness🧡🧡🧡 #marbutlerspeaks
