Dude, this happened to me on a flight to Iceland. This mother and children sat in mine and my husband seat and the flight attendant was trying to get me to switch with them instead of telling them to move and was absolutely shocked when I said no!????

One time there was a guy who was sitting in my seat and I told him oh yeah you're sitting in my seat and he kept saying this one was more comfortable for him and if I would switch with him because he had the window seat. I said no please let me have my seat I paid for and then he got up and called me a skinny c*nt

someone gave me attitude after they couldn't convince me that "it goes seat A window, seat C middle, seat B aisle - ACB - so we have the window and aisle and you have the middle." 💀tbh i was baffled they thought that work work - i just pointed them to the picture above the row that it was, always has been, ABC.

I paid extra for an emergency row and a guy was in my seat when I got there. He said “you can take my seat that’s the row behind this one” and went back to his phone. I said “no I’ll take the seat I paid for you and you can go to yours” he scoffed at me and moved. Like what is wrong with people???

I have straight up told someone “I don’t care get up” when they even tried to open their mouth with a reason. No reason EVER you should be in my assigned seat.

i pay extra for an aisle seat bc i have crohns disease so if i gotta GO. i gotta GO!! i got onto my flight and someone was in my seat and refused to move. best believe i got that flight attendant and they moved real quick.

one time a mom had her 3 kids set up in my row accidentally and I had the window seat. I politely showed her my ticket with my seat and she immediately apologized and moved her kids. its really not that hard to keep your lid on and I'm very glad she wasnt one of those entitled moms and her kids were very well behaved

Only time I let someone get away with it was when they had an equivalent seat on the direct other side (like 2A for 2F) and then I got the whole row to myself while he had a full row

Back in March I payed extra for a window seat on Southwest. I got to my seat & a guy was there and his gf/wife was in the middle. I (kindly) told him he was in my seat and he smugly said "you can sit there" and pointed to his aisle seat. It was only an hour long flight so I sat aisle because I didn't want to argue, but I paid extra for a window & wanted my seat. Looking back, I should have made him move, but I'm quite a pushover at times unfortunately. If it ever happens again, I will definitely be getting my assigned seat.

Happened to me, ticket in hand, showed her, she still REFUSED to move! (Mind you this lady was old enough to be my mother, who had her mother in the middle seat)… I stood in the isle seat until everyone else was seated & the flight attendant asked me what was wrong, all I did was point to my seat number on the ticket, and moved out of the seat so she could speak with the woman… the woman was PISSED, major attitude. Idgaf I didn’t hand select my seat after reviewing an entire plane seat chart to end up in a seat I didn’t select. Her mother ended up being a seat hog and kept part of her arm in my area no less, they were the worst

I had a man in my seat it was the women beside mes husband when I asked him to move the both acted like they didn’t speak English so it took a while and some attitude for him to move flash forward to snacks being pasted out and shocker they spoke perfect English 🙃

I was just on a flight in my correct seat. But several people near me confused their seats and when one girl was told she was in the wrong spot she pointed to me and said “that’s because that girl took my seat” She was wrong. They were all wrong. 😂 I sure glared at her while she said that though 😂

I was seated first. Got me a window seat. This mom with a toddler came, she ask me if I could switch with her husband so they could all sit together. Same row just on opposite side of plane. But it’s a window seat. I’m like sure, moment I moved the toddler had a meltdown.headphones in my ears n I was out.

I was once assigned a window seat on a Volaris flight, but I never actually got to sit in it. An older couple who wanted to sit together simply took my seat without asking or paying for the upgrade. When I brought it up, the flight attendant basically told me tough luck. I was livid because no one had even bothered to ask for my permission, and I ended up having to wait until literally everyone else had boarded before finally being reassigned to an aisle seat.
