We have invested billions of dollars, strengthened NATO, and supported Ukraine's fight to defend its sovereignty. Now, Elon Musk is raising serious questions about whether one billionaire should have the power to influence the outcome of a war. According to recent reporting, Musk personally ordered restrictions on the satellite communications technology that Ukrainian forces depend on to defend themselves against Russian attacks. Think about that for a second. A private American billionaire reportedly made a decision that could have life-or-death consequences for Ukrainian soldiers fighting against Vladimir Putin's invasion. And who benefits when Ukraine loses access to critical battlefield communications? Vladimir Putin. This isn't about being a Democrat or a Republican. This is about American national security, standing by our allies, and making sure that no billionaire gets to undermine our country's strategic interests without accountability. Our soldiers, intelligence officials, and diplomats have spent decades building alliances that protect the United States and keep our adversaries in check.
