I was going to get it but the Tamron 16-50 is cheaper and would be a better hybrid lens for me

Too big, sold it for sigma 18-50, and then sold that for new Tamron 16-50 👌

Great lens, only things are that it goes completely blurry/out of focus when zooming in and out quickly, and sometimes it has some vignetting in the corners at 17mm . Super sharp tho I like it

Syntax :
Lil overrated because of the price, loses in a true head to head with Sigma in overall IQ, still very valid lens that performs very well for the cost of entry.

i personally have tried both sigma 18-50 and tamron 17-70 and prefer sigma! although the size of tamron makes it seem more professional/premium, the compactness of sigma is hard to beat
