An unemployed #Arizona man is accused of walking into the Little Caesars where his wife worked and fatally shooting her and a co-worker he wrongly believed she was romantically involved with, following an argument about money and his lack of employment, according to police. #KennedyLong, who owns a nearby nail salon, told local CBS affiliate KTVK that she heard a rapid series of gunshots. “Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,” she recalled. “I saw one girl fall down.” According to court documents obtained by KTVK and NBC affiliate KPNX, the suspect reportedly confessed at the scene. “I just pulled a gun and I shot two people,” he allegedly said. “Please help me. Please help me.” Police identified the gunman as 27-year-old Benjamin Visser. Investigators say he shot and killed his 21-year-old wife, Mary Visser, and her colleague, 32-year-old Shaquille Simmons, inside the Tempe pizza shop on Monday morning. Mary Visser, who shared a 6-month-old child with the suspect, reportedly called 911 after she was shot but couldn’t speak. Officers say Benjamin grabbed the phone and began talking to the dispatcher himself. Surveillance footage reviewed by investigators allegedly shows Benjamin walking his wife to work before Simmons arrived to start his shift. As Simmons approached the entrance, Visser appeared to open fire on him before shooting his wife, police said. According to the 911 transcript, Visser told the dispatcher, “It’s my wife and it’s her co-worker,” identifying the victims. He then allegedly continued shooting Mary after she collapsed. Officers arrested Visser without incident minutes later. He told detectives he had argued with Mary earlier that morning about finances and his struggle to find work, claiming he “blacked out” before opening fire. When questioned about Simmons, Visser reportedly said he suspected an affair based solely on how his wife had been behaving — a claim he ultimately admitted he had “no proof” to support, according to court records. Shaquille’s brother, Lerron Simmons, told KTVK the rumor was baseless. “They had no romantic relationship whatsoever,” he said. “They’re co-workers.”#viral #fyp
