@tokreelrush007: "You walk out the visitor locker room at Mile High and the wall tells you the elevation just to get in your head! If you're not prepared, you feel like a different player out there." Tom Brady on playing in Denver. #tombrady #denverbroncos #milehigh #nfl #nflsecrets #footballtalk #broncos #quarterback
Broncos are the only team that didn’t have a losing record against Brady

I lived in Colorado my whole life, and I don’t notice it at all, even as an ultra trail runner, but my friends that come up from Texas to climb 14ner, it’s very real.

As a Broncos fan I loathed Tom, but I always respected him as a player.

In January this year Patriots came 19 hours early for altitude acclimation and still looking for it but came a week early in 80’s and practiced in Colorado Springs so teams have tried

I visit Denver often, it’s not noticeable in regular activities, but once you start running it is noticeable how tired you get

Idk, I used to run faster at higher elevations, but that was also track, however we played teams at 7k+ feet all of the time and I don’t remember it affecting me as much, I was sitting at 4K everyday though. So it wasn’t as drastic of a change for me. I’m old now, and man I feel it. 🤣

The funniest thing is U of Wyoming fans chanting “you can’t breathe” at their Cowboy BB and FB games. My daughter went to UWY during the Josh Allen years. They were 7200 ft but Mile High is similar at 5280.
