@novathreadmedia: Ohio State lost to USC. USC moved up eight spots. Ohio State fell eight spots. And somehow the Buckeyes are still seven places ahead of the Trojans in the new Coaches Poll. Ohio State: No. 10 USC: No. 17 Miami remains No. 1, followed by Georgia, Indiana, Utah and unbeaten UCLA. But the ranking that jumps off the page is Ohio State versus USC. The NovaThread On-Field 25 will make its own call based on résumé, opponent-adjusted performance and forward viability. No poll copying. No reputation points. Just the results.
