@hustlersnthehood: Jollof Bowl has been feeding people inside Cross Street Market in Baltimore since last summer, and about a third of its business comes through delivery apps. In July, the money from Uber Eats stopped showing up. The orders kept coming in and the food kept going out, but the payouts didn't. "We're essentially giving away free food, $30,000 of free food because we have not been paid for it," co-owner Andrea Kamara said. Every time they reached out, they got an auto-reply. "Thirty thousand dollars later, you're like, somebody needs to pay me my money," co-owner Lekan Oketunji said. Once the story hit the local news, Uber Eats gave them a new account manager and paid most of what it owed. The rest is supposed to land in the next couple of weeks. Now other business owners, from Baltimore all the way to Chicago, are reaching out to say it happened to them too, and Lekan says they'll help however they can. "We're watching every move they make." #HustlersNTheHood
