id also like to add the directors were really smart w the character constructs. They made mido a byronic hero, but i was wondering why i didnt like her and its bc she has masculine traits. Instead they made namgung a male with feminine qualities. Mido not knowing what she wanted, being unable to express herself, being insecure, not knowing how to ask for help and even falling into temptation that easily are all typical attributes of men in kdramas who r pieces of trash. Meanwhile the women in kdramas who r cheated on especially in older dramas either forgave, didnt plot revenge, understood the other despite giving everything to the relationship. They basically swapped the genders to see how the public react and conflict did it successfully cause 😭

IDK but I feel like after watching it even they end up in separate and with SL,, there's this feeling that there's no actually peace or closure for all of the character.
