@tamipawsdallas: 💔🐾 YESTERDAY WE LOST POPPY. TODAY, WE HAVE UNTIL 1:55 PM TO SAVE LEO & GROOT. PLEASE DON'T BE TOO LATE. 🚨 📍 DALLAS ANIMAL SERVICES — DALLAS, TEXAS 🚨 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1 — FINAL PLEA: 1:55 PM CST Yesterday, we begged for someone to save Poppy. And people said YES. People offered to help. People wanted to give her a chance. But those yeses came after 2:00 PM. And Poppy was already gone. 💔 She deserved more time. She deserved another chance. She deserved to walk out of Dallas Animal Services alive. Today, we are asking you to help us honor Poppy in the most meaningful way possible. PLEASE HELP US SAVE TWO LIVES BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. 🐾 LEO — A1301730 5 years old | 57 lbs | Neutered | Heartworm negative Leo is a boy who has had a difficult time finding his footing. He's playful, house-trained, walks well on a leash, and has shown how happy and affectionate he can be when he feels safe. He needs a patient, experienced home without other dogs, where his resource guarding and boundaries can be managed safely. He isn't asking for perfection. He needs someone willing and equipped to understand him. 🐾 GROOT — A1295800 2 years old | 61 lbs | Neutered | Heartworm negative Groot has been waiting since AUGUST. He's social, playful, loves meeting people, knows how to sit, and has enjoyed outings away from the shelter. He can get excited and needs help polishing his manners, but he also knows how to settle down. He has participated in dog playgroups and shown that he can enjoy the company of other dogs. Two very different dogs. Two lives worth saving. Two chances to do what we couldn't do for Poppy yesterday. 💔 I cannot bear the thought of another dog leaving the shelter in a black trash bag when someone out there might have been willing to give them a home. Please don't wait until 2:00 PM to say yes.WE NEED COMMITMENTS NOW. BEFORE 1:55 PM. 🚨 HOW TO HELP SAVE THEM: ❤️ ADOPT: [email protected] 🐾 FOSTER: [email protected] 🚑 RESCUE: [email protected] Include LEO A1301730 or GROOT A1295800, your phone number, and your commitment.
