it would be a fault for steering. if she was up on the kerb & stays there it's a fault for position normal stops. the weight of the fault sounds like not worthy (not recordable) as it was described as 'gently touching' the kerb. If you wanted a normal stop you have to use the correct wording, to an examiner this is a specified stop as you added extra information about where you wanted the pupil to stop which would have affected their decision making.
