🌺 Far from Home, Together on the Path of Peace | A Special Meeting in Bhutan | November 2, 2026 Today in Bhutan, Most Venerable Ratanaguna, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân, and Venerable Silananda had a warm and joyful meeting with two fellow Vietnamese venerable monks who are widely known and deeply loved among Vietnamese Buddhist communities worldwide: Venerable Thích Pháp Hòa (Thầy Pháp Hòa) and Venerable Thích Tâm Nguyên. Thầy Pháp Hòa is the abbot of Trúc Lâm Monastery and Tây Thiên Meditation Centre in Alberta, Canada. Through his gentle humor, clear explanations, and practical teachings, he helps many people apply the Buddha’s wisdom to everyday life. Venerable Thích Tâm Nguyên is the abbot of Happy Monastery in Sarasota, Florida. His warm and relatable way of sharing the Dhamma, especially through reflections on parents, family, love, and daily life, has touched many hearts, including younger generations. The occasion became even more meaningful during lunch, when Her Majesty the Queen Mother, Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck, mother of the current King of Bhutan, graciously joined the venerable monks at their table and warmly welcomed them. To see these Vietnamese venerable monks together so far from their shared homeland, here in the peaceful Kingdom of Bhutan during the sacred days surrounding Project 108, was deeply heartwarming. Though their paths of service reach different communities and generations, they share the same aspiration to bring understanding, compassion, peace, and well-being into the lives of others. We are deeply grateful for this joyful meeting, for the gracious welcome of Her Majesty the Queen Mother, and for the loving service these venerable monks continue to offer around the world. Wherever sincere hearts gather with the wish to ease suffering and nurture goodness, a sense of home can quietly arise. May this meeting strengthen our shared aspiration to carry wisdom, loving-kindness, and peace wherever we go. May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏 #WalkforPeace #BuddhistMonks #Bhutan #ThayPhapHoa
