@clipfoorge: Rodrygo produced one of the most ridiculous combinations of brilliance and stupidity during a Real Madrid Castilla match in February 2020. The Brazilian picked up the ball near the halfway line, drove forward past the opposition defence and finished with a beautiful chip over the goalkeeper to score an incredible solo goal. But instead of simply celebrating with his teammates, Rodrygo turned towards the opposing goalkeeper, Xabi Irureta, and waved his arms right in front of his face in a provocative celebration. The goalkeeper had approached him moments earlier to complain about the way the goal had been scored, and Rodrygo clearly wasn't interested in letting it go. There was just one problem: Rodrygo had already received a yellow card earlier in the match. The referee showed him a second booking for his celebration, tollowed by a red card, meaning he had scored a brilliant goal and been sent off within moments. The punishment was even worse because the suspension ruled him out of the upcoming El Clásico against Barcelona. Imagine scoring a goal like that, only to realise you've just celebrated yourself out of one of the biggest matches of the season.
