@stevegarriganmusic: This song took a long time to finish, I spent months trying to find the right lyric to end this verse with (crazy, I know 😑😅). I’d sit alone night after night, in my parents attic, writing and singing different lines but for some reason nothing seemed to work. I must have tried about 50 different lyrics for that one line. Until I finally found “our love was made for movie screens.” Once I got that line, the whole song clicked for me. It summed up exactly what I was going through at the time, which was a very difficult point in my life. I never thought anyone would hear this song. I just knew I needed to get it out.i remember the first time playing in a rehearsal room with the band and being completely lost in it. It’s incredible to hear how many lives it’s touched and how far it’s travelled all these years later. Whenever I have a tough day writing, or nothing seems to work, I always think back to this song.
