Herera :
Zuko’s heating alone. Even outside of fights, if he could keep himself alive through diving through arctic waters, melting the ice above him with a breath he has been holding for 15 minutes, sleeping rough exposed to the wind in a city made of ice while in drenched thin clothing and bald, picking and winning a fight against Katara, lugging an unconscious body (Aang is small but not that small and floppy bodies are awkward to handle) through hip deep snow, abainst the wind in a blizzard, spend some time in a cave, and then pick a fight with Katara again (didn’t win that one, but he got back on his feet quickly afterwards to handle the confrontation with Zhao), while already banged up and sleep deprived from the explosion and before he learned the true nature of firebending, he can withstand anything. They won’t have to worry too much about cold nights anymore, at least not on his part. And correct be if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember small firebending (palm fires and the likes) producing smoke, which introduces the optionof having a fire to cook with that won’t give away anyone’s position through smoke signals. He would be incredibly useful for everyday life in the road. Skipping from Hobbit to LotR, Zuko alone would probably mean that they can avoid the mines of Moria. And that is just Zuko, That’s not even mentioning the others.

No but Aang would just want to ride Smaug (until Smaug turns out to be a threat to the people around) like let’s be real😂

You'd have to nerf them 😭 Or just drop the characters and make bending a thing that's normal in middle earth, but it's much weaker cause maybe the powers are still new
