@loving.tusks: 🐘💚 Have you ever wondered just how powerful and purposeful an elephant’s trunk really is? An elephant’s trunk can hold around 8–10 litres (2–2.6 gallons) of water at a time! But this incredible part of their body is so much more than a water carrier. 🌿💦 With more than 40,000 muscles, an elephant’s trunk helps them breathe, smell, drink, shower, pick up food, pull branches, communicate, comfort their babies, and explore the world around them. They can use it to lift heavy objects and gently pick up something as small as a blade of grass! 🐘❤️ At Laos Giants, we love watching our elephants use their trunks freely every day, doing the simple things that make life so special. Nature has given these beautiful giants an extraordinary gift, and they deserve to live in a world where they can use it without fear, cruelty, or suffering. 🌱 Thank you to everyone who supports our mission to give these elephants the peaceful, free, and loving lives they deserve. Your donations help us provide food, care, rehabilitation, and a safe home for our rescued elephants. 💚 Help us keep their freedom growing donation details are available in our bio.
