@walkinggirll: A quick guide to a beautiful walk in the Lake District 🗺️ 📍Buttermere 📈 Easy - this is a relatively flat walk but it is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. There are narrow paths and some rocky terrain through the woodland 🅿️ National trust parking is free for members, or there is a car park towards the southern end near the farm 🚌 You can get the bus here and it runs seasonally 🐶 Dog friendly but there is livestock through some of the fields, I’d recommend parking at the southern area if you wanted to avoid as much livestock 🍰 We called at Sykes Tea Rooms for lunch which is dog friendly and has indoor and outdoor seating #Hiking #uk #lakedistrict #dogfriendly
