I think part of the reason it's not being released/talked about is because if it was obtained illegally, the contents of the recording wouldn't be admissable in any legal proceedings.

The call will strengthen any claims he/Patrick make as it provides a formal record. He doesn’t need to comment on what was said or the interpretation of very garbled/poor quality wording, that would come in the subsequent claim.

Exactly, people are saying you can’t care what’s being said and that she put on subtitles to make it sound like he said something bad about Patrick. But if that was true that he didn’t say something bad about Patrick. That would’ve been a lesser included charge. I think it’s really interesting that they made it the creation of the tape and they didn’t charge her with the dissemination of the tape or slander/liable.
