@dexyzlyrics: Swae Lee Turned Eminem’s Classic “Stan” Into One of the Most Memorable Hooks on “Not So Bad” 🔥💯 Released in 2023 by Rae Sremmurd, the duo consisting of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, “Not So Bad (Leans Gone Cold)” caught attention for bringing a new version of the melody from “Thank You” by Dido, which became worldwide famous after being featured in Eminem’s “Stan.” Before the official release, Swae Lee had already shared a snippet of himself singing the melody, and the preview went viral on social media. The anticipation grew so much that fans spent months waiting for the song to finally drop. On the track, Swae Lee blends the nostalgic hook with verses about his life, while Slim Jxmmi reflects on his journey to success and the people who weren’t around when things were difficult. “Not So Bad” appeared on the album Sremm 4 Life and showed how a melody that defined the 2000s could find new life in modern rap.
