@foodandlu: “HO HO HO LOSERS“ she says sheepishly tucking her hair behind her ear jessie style. i’m genuinely the cringest person you’ll never meet… but to be cringe is to be free. anyway who even cares about christmas (i will find you if you say you don’t btw). feeling festive so you know i had to get some apples and cinnamon involved. These were REALLY REALLY GOOD, there’s a method to the madness so I’m happy i did it this way. cinnamon apple blondies 🤍 makes 9 squares Ingredients: Blondies: * 90g (about 6 tbsp) butter, melted * 65g (about 3 tbsp) honey * 1 tbsp maple syrup * 2 large eggs * 1 tsp vanilla * 175g (about 1 1/3 cups) plain flour * 1 tsp baking powder * 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon * pinch of salt * 1 medium apple Cinnamon swirl: * 15g (1 tbsp) butter, melted * 1 tsp honey * 1/2 tsp cinnamon Method: * dice about 3/4 of the apple and add it straight to a bowl * add the eggs, honey + maple syrup and whisk everything together for 1–2 minutes. (I wanted the apple mixed in right from the beginning so the flavour could really come through, and whether or not that made the difference, these tasted SO apple-y 😭) * add the melted butter + vanilla and whisk again * add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon + salt and fold until just combined * spread the batter into a lined 8×8-inch tin * mix the melted butter, honey + cinnamon for the swirl * drizzle it over the batter and gently swirl with a knife * thinly slice the remaining 1/4 apple and arrange two little fans directly on top * bake at 160°C fan for 28–35 minutes * leave to cool for about 10 minutes before cutting into 9 squares because they’re really good warm soft, cinnamony and actually packed with apple flavour 🤍 cinnamon apple blondies save this 🤍 #apple #blondies #asmrsounds #healthyrecipes #cleaneating
