because realistically nothing ever happens. it's like a pattern at this point. we meet a villain. we fight the villain. we get a 5 minute long boss fight. villain dies. rerir, dottore as the most recent examples. i mean damn, as a dottore fan i literally knew that its gonna happen ever since the nod krai trailer with him, since it's so predictable. i love the quests but they feel so lackluster because of no surprises and no plot twists. ronova died. ronova activated the holy soil. holy soil will be removed in 7.2, certainly, with no consequences for playable characters. dottore burned irminsul, no consequences. atp phanes is gonna die and no one will suffer any consequences of it

The story is hold back because it’s a live service game and gacha 😭 they literally can’t change the game too much so there are some limitations with the story. They will probably fix it with the anime for sure, possible playable character deaths, world consequences etc

it looks cool in concepts and trailers but then i remember its genshin and it will probably be a nothing burger especially since its 7.2 and not a promotional patch like x.3 and i will probably get disappointed again
