Not that i’m defending this. I whole heartedly agree. But spicy take, you need those people to keep projects green-lit. The last thing you want is someone who is too quiet to make your team visible. Call it a symbiotic relationship.

Oh this is 100% we have someone in our team who got promoted because she made she got heard but now she is struggling to deliver to an extent they don't add her to big projects
